I was hoping to get a bit more active here over the summer but with one thing or another it has been even busier since the students left. However, I had a bright idea – just add a feed to my work blog here in my Resources and then publish it to this blog. But it doesn’t work. I get an error “Feed subscription failed: SSL feed reading is not enabled”. This is because, I assume, our installation of Elgg at the Leeds uni is now on a secure server with an https: url. It seems everything we do has some sort of unintended consequence, another problem, another fix, and then another problem. Such is life I guess!
