14the April 2015 – Mountain bike accident in Calverley Woods, ruptured kidney and 9 days in hospital where. when given an old man’s check-up, prostate cancer was detected.

25th July 2016 – Purchase of a Tacx Neo direct drive smart trainer. Joined Zwift. First recorded group rides and races, 30th August 2016.

10th March 2017 – first race on zwift

21st August 2016 – radical proctectomy. Discharged the morning after and rehab started.

1st July 2018 – purchased hybrid Cube e-bike

20th October 2020 – last race on Zwift before break for hip replacement and recuperation.

25th August 2021 – hip replacement operation. Discharged the next day and rehab started. First ride on Zwift post-op 28th November 2021

8th January 2023 – first race on resuming Zwift racing.
