This is a journal of notes, quotations, ideas, brief reflections and occasional short essays. They will not necessarily be systematic or entirely coherent. Constructive comments are always welcome. I retired July 2011 as a full-time academic in the School of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Leeds but have been re-engaged for two years to teach a couple of specialist courses and complete Ph.D. supervisions.
Update: as of the 31st July 2013 I am now fully retired. However, for the moment I have been appointed (unpaid!) as an Honorary Research Fellow in Sociology until July 2016.
Over the years I have accumulated a number of blogs and on-line content of various sorts. terrywassall.org is an attempt to organise these and weed out stuff that is redundant. At some point I will produce a page that maps out what’s where.
Hello Terry,
I have just discovered your Note Book – and see you may have gone fishing already?
Or perhaps you are still enjoying your “volunteer” work??
Thank you for your note page and links on photography.
All the best
Victoria
You’re welcome.
