About

In just about the whole of my involvement  in politics and more latterly in the social sciences in general and sociology in particular a constant theme has been the fundamental impact on every aspect of political, economic, social, cultural and personal life of the capitalist economy. It is seen as the cause of our problems, the framework for understanding our problems and its critique the basis of solving our problems. If this is wrong an awful lot of people have been wasting their time and barking up the wrong tree. This blog is a merely a collection of notes, sources and ramblings that one day may help clarify what I think about all this. The ramblings in particular are just that – ramblings. Not necessarily thought through at all for the moment but got down before the thoughts, such as they are, escape me. No doubt it may have been better that some of them did.

I would be very happy if others would like to contribute to this blog. If you ‘re interested find me and email me or leave a comment.
